LAS VEGAS – Manny Pacquiao fought a lot bigger than he looked.Oscar De La Hoya simply looked old. Pacquiao dominated his bigger and more famous opponent from the opening bell Saturday night, giving De La Hoya a beating and closing his left eye before De La Hoya declined to come out of his corner after the eighth round.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are making franchise history, but they aren't making up any ground on the Boston Celtics.

The Cavaliers matched a club record Friday night with their 11th straight win, 88-72 over the Philadelphia 76ers. Cleveland (20-3) is 19-1 since starting the season 1-2 and can set a record for consecutive wins in Atlanta on Saturday.

NEW YORK – The New York Yankees reeled in another pitcher with a rich offer, reaching agreement with free agent A.J. Burnett on $82.5 million, five-year contract Friday. CC Sabathia and the Yankees made a deal for $161 million over seven years on Wednesday during thewinter meetings. After missing the playoffs following a 13-year run, the Yankees again showed they were more than willing to shell out big bucks for pitching.
